GLOBAL EARTHQUAKE RATTLES PACIFIC RIM

A powerful earthquake struck the Pacific Rim early this morning, generating widespread devastation and leaving hundreds fearing. The epicenter of the quake was located offshore| in the region of Indonesia, with vibrations observed as far away as South America. Rescue personnel are currently working against time to aid those affected in the rubble.
